A steady, people-focused company in the professional services sector, based in the Brussels West region, is looking for a Payroll Specialist to strengthen its HR team.

You’ll join a collaborative HR environment. Together with a fellow payroll specialist, you’ll keep payroll accurate, timely and well-structured. Beyond the numbers, you’ll also contribute to a positive and well-organised workplace.

The role offers autonomy, stability and room to grow into broader HR responsibilities over time.

YOUR ROLE

As Payroll Specialist, you will:

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for both blue-collar and white-collar employees.

  • Be the first point of contact for payroll-related questions from employees and stakeholders.

  • Apply Belgian social legislation correctly and provide clear, practical guidance.

  • Collaborate closely with a fellow Payroll Specialist to divide and back up the workload.

  • Suggest and implement improvements to payroll practices.

  • Support compliance with internal HR policies and procedures.

Vereisten

YOUR PROFILE

You bring:

  • Relevant experience in Belgian payroll.

  • Solid knowledge of Belgian local social legislation.

  • Proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with tools such as Acerta, Syncore, or Workday is a plus.

  • A structured and analytical approach.

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and French; English is a plus.

PRACTICALITIES

  • Contract type: Permanent (CDI)

  • Work regime: 4/5 or full-time

  • Location: Brussels West – 3 days on-site, 2 days remote per week

  • Start date: ASAP
